It has been almost 32 years back when a catastrophic nuclear disaster took place in a nuclear power plant known as Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plan which is located in Pripyat, in northern Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union. The incident took place on April 25-26 1986 which is recorded as a level 7 nuclear disaster. Now after so many years, a game was being developed based on the incident of Chernobyl which is being developed by The Farm 51 who have produced a nice game named as Get Even.
A few days back developer The Farm 51 announced the game named as “Chernobylite” which is a survival horror game and is set inside the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The game is about conspiracy, horror, survival, love, and obsession, and the developers are spending a lot of time in the exclusion zone to gather required data and materials which are needed to make the ultimate survival horror experience of the Chernobyl disaster.

According to a recent post on Facebook by the developers, they want to produce us with a deep, emotional story, engaging survival and horror experience along with a visually stunning recreation of Chernobyl area which is achieved with a detailed 3D scanning of the rich game world and beautifully rendered in Unreal Engine 4. The places in the game are the counterpart of the most place in the Chernobyl Zone and by seeing some of the images we can guess they are really digging deep to get the most out of it.
However, no release date or what kind of content is expected from the game is not available yet but seeing some of the images it can be formulated that the game will be based on the post-disaster scenario and we can also expect some rich graphics of the Pripyat. To get more details we need to just wait a little longer.
