Acer is constantly expanding its line up of gaming monitors and recently it has launched a new gaming monitor, the all-new Predator XB273K. The new monitor is aimed at gamers who are willing to get serious performance and it is indeed a good combination of both super fast response and higher resolution.
The Acer Predator XB273K features an IPS panel that has a resolution of 4k along with 400 nits peak brightness in HDR mode. Not only this the XB273K also has a refresh rate of 144Hz and also comes with Nvidia G-Sync. The monitor also offers a viewing angle of 178°/178°. However, there is quite a similarity with that of Acer’s flagship monitor the Predator X27 but the FALD (Full array local dimming), quantum dot-enhanced backlighting, and NVIDIA’s G-Sync HDR are missing in the XB273K.
The latest monitor just like the X27 will also feature a hood to make the display more prominent and minimize reflection. The new monitor also supports a wider-than-sRGB colour gamut and according to the manufacturer, it is supposed to cover 90% of the DCI-P3 colour range and naturally 100% of the sRGB palette.
The monitor was announced with a bunch of other products and it is also designed to be easy on the eyes, featuring Acer VisionCare—a suite of technologies that help protect eyes during longer gaming sessions. To know more about the latest announced products check this link out.
