When we first came around the news that a new instalment in the Assassins Creed series is coming soon and it was even rumoured that the new game will be set in the background of Ancient Greece. And now Ubisoft has finally revealed at their E3 press conference and confirmed that the game is set in Ancient Greece. The video shared by Ubisoft gives us a brief yet valuable information such as it is set during the Peloponnesian War and many other details about the upcoming title.
Moreover, the upcoming game will also offer you a choice to play a character of either man or a woman and choosing any one of them won’t have any effect on the main story. According to Scott Phillips, they wanted this new instalment to be an open world RPG without having any limitation.
You will play the role of a mercenary who is on a journey to reunite his/her family and deal with those who were responsible for their separation and your ship will be your home base and along with its crew as your family which lets you seek for adventure as you sail through the lands and waters of 5th Century BC. The above video also shows that your character will be having some devastating skills which come as a result of wielding of first civilization artefact: the broken spear and moreover you can fully customize your character starting from gears, moving to accessories and even your weapons also.
The game is going to be released on 5th of October 2018.
