Finally, Asus declared to launch a completely new set of 3 laptop models. Among them, 2 of them displays a 120Hz refresh rate which serves the purpose of gaming pretty well.

These newly built series features a futuristic design with metallic body & sharp edges. With the beautiful red shade covering the sleek sides of the laptop to exhibit its royal gaming look. According to ASUS, like their other high-end gaming laptops, this series also serves the purpose of all the gaming enthusiasts.

These newly launched models are as follows the ROG Strix GL503, ROG Strix GL703, and TUF Gaming FX502. Among them, the GL503 has a 15.6-inch 120Hz TN display with a minimal response time of just 3ms and 1920 x 1080 resolution. The next comes, GL703 which has a large 17.3-inch IPS panel, at 1920 x 1080 with a 60Hz refresh rate.

As known to everyone that IPS displays generally provide superior colour accuracy to TN panels. But, according to Asus, the GL503 offers about 130% coverage of the sRGB colour space, which in comparison to the GL703 offers just about 100% coverage.

Primarily designed for a superb gaming experience, both the laptops pair either with an Intel Core i5-8300H or Core i7-8750H processor. They also possess the new Coffee lake mobile CPUs with either 4-cores/8-threads or 6 cores/12 threads. Also, they come with 32GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory. All these states of the art functionality make these laptops about 23% faster than the previous generations.

They also comes in different storage capacities, including 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM 1TB HDDs, a 5400 RPM 1TB SSHD, 256GB M.2 SATA 6Gbps SSD, and 128GB or 256GB M.2 NVMe SSDs. They are designed quite sleek and light with their overall measurement of about 11.02 x 16.34 x 0.94 inches and weighing 6.61 pounds. What’s still puzzling to all the enthusiasts is that Asus has stated neither its price nor its availability till now.

Needless to say, these Asus laptops just like their older counterparts comes with an anti-dust cooling system. Interestingly, its sole function is to expel dust particles and dirt through two dedicated tunnels to prevent dust clumps from forming inside the laptop and caking on the fan blades. One of the most sought-after methods to keep your laptop neat and tidy.

As mentioned there’s still no information regarding the price and availability of these awesome gaming laptops. Let’s hope they start its shipping from May onwards. Presumably, all these notebooks will start shipping this month, as Asus already has product pages on its website.
