So, finally, Asus launched its hyped 4K 144hz monitor in online stores which are now available for pre-order for $1999. It was rumoured that this monitor would cost you around $3000 but after Acer launched its X27 4K 144hz monitor for $1999, it was obvious that Asus would price its new monitor similarly. This monitor is named ROG Swift PG27UQ which will be in the PG series where you will find all the gaming monitors with IPS display.
PG27UQ will feature an IPS display on a 27-inch screen which will sport 178/178 degree viewing angles which means you will enjoy the great picture quality from all angles, unlike the TN gaming panels. Not only this monitor is an IPS one but also a fast-paced one, featuring 144Hz refresh rate at a whopping resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. This monitor is the ultimate immersive display panel for gaming in which you will find every feature an enthusiast gamer dreams of. We mostly see either fast-paced 144hz refresh rate gaming monitors with poor picture quality or 60-100hz refresh rate gaming monitors with good picture quality.

It’s very difficult to equip a monitor with all the great features but finally, we got two of these from Acer and Asus. Not only this monitor will be perfect in its specs but also in aesthetics. It features a stylish rear design with a big Asus ROG logo and a logo projector which will project the big eye logo on your wall if you want to lit up your room to show your enthusiasm in gaming. There is also Asus Aura Sync feature equipped with it which will help you Sync the LED lighting of the monitor to other RGB components of your setup. This feature is absent in the Acer’s 4K 144hz monitor.
At the rear, you will find that the stand is made very stylish and looks similar to the other high-end ultra-wide gaming monitors from Asus with a LOGO projecting technology at the bottom. There is also a smart cable management hole at the bottom of the stand which will help you to route the cables easily and hide them properly. For display, there are 1x HDMI v2.0 and 1x DP 1.4 ports and other ports include the headphone jack and 2x USB 3.0 ports for additional peripherals.
