With the release of AMD Ryzen APUs, there are a number of motherboards with X470 chipset that have been leaked. Previously we saw the specs of three motherboards from Asus having the same X470 chipset leaked on a German website. Among them was the Asus Strix X470-F motherboard which is counted among the mid-high end range for overclocking.
However, we didn’t get any photos of the motherboard itself or of the packaging but this time VideoCardz revealed some information about it. We can clearly see the above part of the motherboard and some of its distinctive features that vary from the X370 Strix motherboard.
It has better VRM section now that should provide more stability in overclocking and the heatsink at the south bridge is bigger than on the X370 one. The heatsink on it is extended towards the M.2 slot covering the area above the PCI-Ex 16 slot. The board has 3x PCI-Ex 16 slots out of which 2 are having steel armour from what we can see from the above pictures and one is a normal one.
As for its availability, it’s said that it will be available from 19th April.
