A few days back, EA and Criterion notified that they are currently working on a remastered version of the most popular open world racing game Burnout Paradise which was previously released in 2008 which actually released to PC back in 2009. But initially, the announcement had no mention for the PC version and later Criterion tweeted that a PC version is also currently under development.
Back in 2008, the original Burnout Paradise™ released with a huge success and top-notch competition which features breakneck racing, high-flying stunts, and most importantly balant amounts of automotive destruction. The title “Burnout Paradise” was successfully able to set the bar for what an action racing game really means. And now in 2018 after ten long years it is coming back and ready to show a new generation of consoles the true definition of action racing.

Though initially, EA didn’t mention any details of the version coming to PC, later Criterion Games posted a tweet and confirmed that they are also working on a remastered version for the PC. In the pictures, they have also upheld the difference between the two version. In the new version, you can tweak the resolution on texture and also be able to amplify it up to 60FPS.
They have also published the details of DLC’s that will be coming along with the Remastered version:
Big Surf Island
Here players will face New challenges, discoverable items, and events, along with nine new vehicles as the player head out to discover the huge Big Surf Island district.
Cops and Robbers
Here players can play both the roles i.e. The Cops or the Robbers and it also includes a new online game mode along with police variations for 33 of Paradise’s original vehicles.
This DLC includes the four most legendary cars: the Carson GT Nighthawk, Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger, Hunter Manhattan Spirit, and the Jansen 88 Special.
This one’s for those who love 2 wheeler more than a car- Like mine.
Burnout Paradise Toys
This DLC is a toy pack that includes toy versions of the following cars: Hunter Cavalry, Hunter Manhattan, Krieger WTR, Jansen P12, Hunter Takedown 4×4, Carson GT Concept, Hunter Citizen, Carson Inferno Van, and the Nakamura Firehawk GP Competition Bike.
Burnout Paradise Party
With this DLC you will be able to play co-op for completing in-game challenges with your friends.
The Boost Special pack includes the Carson Extreme Hot Rod or the Montgomery Hawker Mech
Huge new modes and challenges will be coming with the Cagney update which will also include- the Carson Hippy Van and additionally it will also include two brand new vehicles and additional community-made vehicle finishes.
The console versions of Burnout Paradise Remastered will be out on March 16 and is currently up for pre-order. The release date for PC is still not officially announced. Stay tuned for awesome updates or visit their official page for more information.
