Final Fantasy XIV, developed by Square Enix was released way back in 2014 and today Square Enix released a teaser of its upcoming major update which is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2018.
The new update a.k.a “Under the Moonlight” bears similarity with the previous updates of the game. The new update or patch marks the arrival of imperial envoys in the land of Doma which doesn’t seem to go as it should have: to negotiate peace. Lord Hien, eager to secure the release of his conscripted countrymen, cautiously accepts the agreement and arranges for a prisoner exchange. Yet even as Doma is poised to welcome the breaking dawn, the shadow of the fallen Zenos enfolds all in darkness and uncertainty.
There’s a new 24-player raid that expands upon the previous ones set in Ivalice, located in the South of Rabanastre, in a remote corner of the Valnard Sea has a mysterious maw that for a long period of time, has slowly devoured the world around it: Ridorana. With an addition of a new trial, there is much more such as new dungeons located across the plains of Yanxia, between two of the Dairyu Moon Gates, is the visage of Ganen, where the legendary hero is united Doma, it is a place which is built after the death of The first king of the new kingdom, and now place became a holy place to which his disciples would make pilgrimage. Apart from this, there are many more that are on its way and will keep you entertained throughout the entire summer as the upcoming update is a large one which will be rolling out in smaller patches throughout the summer.
However many games will feel that if the update was released fully instead of small parts then most of the gamers will be able to finish it all in just a few weeks but to ensure the fans get entertained this plan is indeed good.
