Gigabyte showed many different computer components at the Computex 2018 and among them was the Aorus M5 gaming mouse. Gigabyte isn’t a major manufacturer in the computer peripherals section but it is getting started slowly-slowly and has today launched the Aorus M5 gaming mouse.
The Aorus M5 features a sporty design with RGB lighting that has several lighting effects and can be customized according to the needs. The mouse uses Omron switches rated at 50 million clicks and should last long enough similar to a mechanical keyboard. The mouse also features a huge 16000 DPI customization which should be more than enough for any gamer who uses different sensitivity in different games.
It uses an optical sensor which is Pixart 3389 and has 50G acceleration. The mouse also offers weight customization which is definitely a much-needed feature in order to get adjusted with it after switching from a different mouse. I personally like a light-weight mouse but it differs from person to person. The M5 can be adjusted from 118g to 130.5g and there are a total of 5 pieces of metal parts having 2.5g of weight each. These are found at the bottom of the mouse and can be accessed after removing the bottom cover.
For RGB LED customization, there is a software called Aorus Engine which will allow the users to change the effects and synchronize the mouse lighting with other Aorus products.
