Lancool 205 vs NZXT H510

Lancool 205 and NZXT H510 are among the top mid-towers for building a gorgeous system and from the outside, they both look somewhat similar to each other due to which you might be confused to choose between the two.

Though both of them look similar to each other, they have some noticeable and subtle differences which make them stand out in different areas. The following comparison will put both of the cases head to head in every area so that you get the idea of what you can expect from both of these.

Differences

There are some differences between the two in terms of looks. Both the cases are similar in size and feature a plain and opaque front panel for a minimal look with vents on the side. Lancool 205 has vents on both the sides but they are fewer whereas the H510 has vents on one side but they are almost equal to the total vents on Lancool 205 on both the sides.

Lancool 205 vs H510

These cases are not made for high airflow and are not recommended for heavy overclocking or enthusiast-level cooling but can still be adequate for most PC users. Another difference is the clearance where the NZXT H510 provides more clearance for both CPU cooler and graphics card than the Lancool 205.

Cable management on the other hand is good in both and they use a similar technique to hide the cables from the front with the use of a cover instead of separate routing holes.

For cooling, you can equip the Lancool II with 1x 120mm rear fan, 2x 120/140mm fans at the top and front respectively but the NZXT H510 can support only 1x 120/140mm fan at the top.

Pricing and recommendation

While both the cases are equivalent in features that include airflow, components support and cable management, the Lancool 205 costs much more than the H510 at a price tag of around $120-$130 while the H510 costs only $70-$80 making it a better option for price and a great value case.
