Samsung 960 PRO 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD

Computer enthusiast or Gamers are well aware of the works of Realtek and it is best known for audio and ethernet solutions provided from its end over a long period of time and they are pretty known for their works in this particular field. However, for last few years, they are trying to get a reputation over the SSD controller market also. The starting, was, however, real slow but now the situation is going to change a lot.

With the introduction of their two latest controllers the RTS5762 and RTS5763DL, Realtek is trying to provide focus on getting more performance out of this cards. They demonstrated both these controllers back at the Computex and the RTS5762 cards turned out to be the fastest PCIe M.2 SSD controller at present times.

However, the RTS5762 is capable of delivering up to 3,500mbps of reading speed and up to 3,000mbps of writing speed. The card supports 3D TLC and 3D QLC NAND flash memory at present, and apart from this information nothing more is available at this moment.   The speed of Samsung 970 competes with this one in term of reading speed but becomes a bit low while it came to write speed which is 2700mbps.

On the other hand, the RTS7536DL is targeted for low-end SSD market and it comes with some basic feature which includes  AES256 encryption which is not commonly available for entry level SSD’s.
