The 2014 Xbox exclusive game- Sunset Overdrive which Sony acquired in August 2019 has its trademark registered by Sony recently. The report comes from a Twitter user Nibel that got this information from TMDN.org that shows that the game’s trademark was registered on the 26th of April 2021.
The game was developed by Insomniac and it still holds its IP address. The game was exclusive to Xbox when it was released but was published for Windows back in 2018. After acquiring the game, Sony hasn’t made it public that if the game is coming to the Playstation consoles or not but it might happen in future.
The game currently is available on Windows Store for $19.99 or can be played through Xbox Game Pass for PC. Sunset Overdrive belongs to the Action/Adventure genre and was awarded as the best Xbox One game by IGN in 2014 followed by others that gave it a solid rating
