Cougar is well known for its unique PC chassis design. Recently they have introduced a Mini-ITX case. The case is named Dust 2 mini. Those who are well familiar with the name Dust 2, know what it can offer when it comes to a design for a PC chassis.
Dust 2 is an iconic map of the Counter-Strike Global Offensive. Similarly, the Dust 2 mini, features a military-based design with three colour options to choose from: desert sand, iron-grey, and space silver. The case looks robust from the outside due to its appealing rugged design.
It is a compact case that one can carry easily and most likely the LAN party peeps will love the way it is. It features a quick-release side panel and two pop-up handles on the top of the case. In terms of dimension, the Dust 2 mini measures 175 mm x 299 mm x 403 mm (6.9 x 11.8 x 15.9-inch) making it a perfect compact one.
The GPU, the motherboard, and the PSU compartment are separate, making room for proper airflow. It also accommodates a 280 mm radiator on the top of the case or a couple of 140 mm fans as an additional option for proper ventilation. It also offers room for a pair of 2.5-inch drive bays, and a single 1x 3.5-inch bay.
The I/O features a power button, reset button, 3.5mm front panel jack, USB 3.1 Type-C port, and USB 3.0 Type-A port. As of now, Cougar didn’t provide any information on the launch date or its price. But some Chinese retailers already listed it for an amount equal to $165.
