There are many among us, who always want to get the best out of every PC equipment. And there are some, who take these desires to a whole new level. Yes, we are referring to overclockers.
The GPU shortage is getting recovered day by day and many users were able to get their hands on the RTX 3080 TI. Some of them are also able to get the special edition of that GPU, and Team OGS and Rauf were able to get the GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC LAB Edition that is meant for serious overclocking.
GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC LAB Edition features a triple fan and triple-slot design and comes in a white colour theme that spans across the shroud, PCB, and backplate. The PCB of the card is made up of a 24 phase design. The phases are distributed across. Out of the 24 phases, 14 phases are dedicated for the GPU, 6 for the VRAM, and 4 for PLL.
The stock GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC LAB Edition comes with a base frequency of 1365Mhz and can be boosted up to 1815 MHz on performance mode. Apart from that, the card comes equipped with 10240 CUDA cores, 12GB memory capacity, and offers a video memory frequency of 19GB/s.
However, this card is meant for overclockers, and earlier today, another feat was achieved by Team OGS and Rauf who overclocked the GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC LAB Edition to an insane frequency of 2.8 GHz using NL2 Cooling.
After reaching 2.8 GHz of frequency, the card was benchmarked using 3DMark Port Royal where it scored up to 18726 points. It is indeed an incredible achievement. The detailed result of the benchmarking is listed here.
