Hogwarts Legacy developer has currently No Plans for adding DLC content

Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy maintains its top position in the Top Sellers list on Steam with several thousands of positive reviews, thanks to the big open-world fantasy world that allows players to do what they could not do in previous Harry Potter games.

But this doesn’t seem to be expanding more than what we have right now as the developer Avalance Software doesn’t seem to have any plans for adding more content to the game.

From IGN Fan Fest, it was revealed that the “Studio has no current plans to release additional content” for Hogwarts Legacy but it doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t have any in the future. Right now the game offers dozens of hours which is quite enough for most players but there are also enthusiasts that would love to cross hundreds of hours exploring and doing anything and everything they liked about the Hogwarts School.

As of now, there are dozens of mods for customizing characters that range from changing the character’s looks to changing the functionality of the game but the base game and story remains the same.

Hogwarts Legacy Better boom control

Recently, the developer team The Team Together was seen working on a new mod called “HogWarp” which enables a multiplayer mode that will allow 2-8 players to play at the same time. The dev team also said that they won’t be touching the game story but the players are free to expand the game content if they wished.

It is unlikely that Avalance Software won’t add any additional content to the game in the future as massively successful single-player titles can only survive for a long time if the hungry players are fed more content regularly but that also benefits the developers.

As Insider-Gaming says, there are still a lot of things that could be added to the game that includes the popular Quidditch game, Wizard’s Chess, House Cup and even Ministry-related content.
